Dog Behaviour 1-2-1 consultations 

Consultations are in your own home, as you and your dog are in familiar surround and best placed to learn. I take time to get to know you and your dog, your dogs character and emotional needs plus your expectations.

I will be with you for 3 to 4 hours, do not be alarmed it's not about doing the control exercises of sit, stay or micromanaging with distraction or control. It is about creating a peaceful environment so you and your dog can begin to connect and understand each other.

​

It's about how you are around your dog as opposed to doing things with or to your dog. Observing their body language and behaviour in response to how you are and what you do in the vicinity. 

​

You will learn how best to ask your dog to respond to your requests, help them adjust to different situations at home and out and about. Address the behaviours you have found challenging and others that's I've noted that need addressing. 

​

It's about addressing your dogs whole world, their perception of the world around them. Trusting you to help them negotiate difficulties they are experiencing is paramount to success.

I leave you with notes, and write a long bespoke plan of the way forward which you will receive within a few days. You will be able to contact me by phone and email following the consultation, as keeping you confident and making tweaks along the way as necessary.
